Desert Boat LLC, doing business as Relo-Cam (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the Relo-Cam mobile application and the web-based admin portal at app.relo-cam.com (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, company name, phone number, and role when you create an account.
  • Organization Data: Company name, logo, branding colors, website URL, service types, license numbers, and team size.
  • Project Data: Client names, addresses (origin and destination), scheduled dates, bill of lading numbers, weight estimates, and notes you enter when creating projects.
  • Photos and Documents: Images captured through the app, including metadata such as timestamps, GPS coordinates, room labels, and damage annotations.
  • Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card numbers. We retain your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Usage Data: Features used, screens viewed, actions taken, and error logs.
  • Location Data: GPS coordinates when photos are captured (only when you grant camera/location permission).
  • Network Information: Online/offline status for sync purposes.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Authentication Providers: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
  • Website Scraping (Onboarding): If you provide your company website URL during onboarding, we may access publicly available information to pre-fill your branding settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Service: Store and organize project documentation, photos, tasks, and inventory.
  • Account Management: Create and manage your account, process subscriptions, and communicate about your account.
  • Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop new features.
  • Communication: Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset), product updates, and billing notifications.
  • Security: Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse.
  • Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following circumstances:

  • Within Your Organization: Team members within your organization can view shared project data, photos, and tasks as determined by your organization’s administrator.
  • Client Share Links: When you create a share link, limited project data (photos, progress) is accessible to the link recipient.
  • Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate our platform:
    • Supabase (database and authentication)
    • Cloudflare R2 (photo storage and CDN)
    • Stripe (payment processing)
    • Vercel (web hosting)
    • Apple / Google (app distribution)
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Data is stored in the United States using Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Cloudflare R2.
  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
  • We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access data belonging to their organization.
  • Photos are stored with unique, non-guessable keys and are not publicly indexed.
  • We implement industry-standard security practices but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Deleted Projects: Soft-deleted items are retained for 30 days before permanent removal.
  • Account Deletion: Upon request, we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. Organization administrators may delete organizational data.
  • Backups: Backups may retain data for up to 90 days after deletion.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data we hold.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies and Tracking

Our web portal uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. The mobile app does not use cookies.

9. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your data, and the right to opt out of the sale of your data. We do not sell personal information.

10. International Users

If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data under the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
